Japanese food has always been one of our favourite cuisines to indulge in. We've had Modern Contemporary Japanese Fusion from Omoté previously, now we move on to something more authentic...
Steak Takana Garlic Rice Set

The dish was nothing short of perfect. Garlic rice was full of flavour and complements all of the other components. This is more of a textural dish, the crispiness of the chips, the softness of the rice and mushrooms and the slightly rough surface of the steak. Full of flavour and simply sumptious

Unagi Toji Set

This dish was just a bit lacklustre, with the unagi to egg ratio way off. The unagi tasted slightly like catfish("muddy"). While the rest of the components were satisfactory, the star of the show had not shone.

Sukiyaki Beef Don Set

This dish also bursted with flavour. The sweetness of the mushrooms, the heat from the bean sprouts and the silkiness of the egg yolk oozing out of the perfectly poached egg. One of our favourites here at Maccha House and every component just graced your mouth in every bite.

Teriyaki Salmon Set

The salmon was nicely cooked, the cook on it was probably textbook. Nothing mind blowing about this dish but it is definitely worth the try.
